“Where do I begin? My husband and I hired Eric Lee to help us turn our somewhat bland and matronly 1930's Monterey Colonial into what I envisioned to be a chic little English manor house. We needed help and we needed it fast. Eric showed up the first day with a team of professionals and from that moment on, things were smooth sailing. We gutted the kitchen, the bathrooms, built custom shelving everywhere, painted, replaced all the fixtures and totally transformed the place. I've heard all the nightmare stories about designers, contractors, etc and I'm sure they're out there, but Eric Lee is NOT one of them! He's nice, smart, thorough, knowledgeable, fast, and did I mention he's nice? Throughout the entire process, he was there for us 24/7. If I mentioned to him that I was interested in antique brass cabinet knobs, I'd get an email from him that night with 20 links to them. He worked constantly to make sure that we were happy and that all the workmanship lived up to not just our high standards, but his, too. No matter what I threw at him, ("Let's upholster the door!"), he figured it out and went above and beyond the call of duty. Best of all, he's a perfectionist. And listen, when you're redoing your home, you WANT a perfectionist! You don't want to be arguing with someone that you think the paint line is a little bit crooked, you want someone who's proactive and not only sees it before you do but gets the painter to redo it before you even get home. Would we recommend him? Are you kidding? If we didn't love our house so much, we'd tear it all down just to work with him again!”
